Mission
The energy research group mission is to carry out high quality research in the field of energy engineering to produce new knowledge and products for the benefit of companies and societies.

• To conduct definitive international leading edge research with strong industry interaction
• To be an international research group with world class lab facilities.
• To conduct a comprehensive cooperation with the industry in both research and
consultations
• To centralize knowledge and become a knowledge hub for both academic institutions and related
industries, for applications in power energy;

LABORATORY FACILITIES

The energy research group has a series of laboratory facilities where researchers and students do much of their work (Some of them are under process):

  • Advanced Electric Machine and Drive Laboratory
  • Measuring and Test Equipment
  • High and Medium Voltage Laboratory
  • The internet of thing (IoT) Laboratory
  • Photovoltaic Systems Laboratory
  • Microgrid Research Laboratory
  • Power System Laboratory
  • The installed 800 kW Photovoltaic system

Energy research team advances the science and engineering of energy efficiency, sustainable transportation, and renewable power technologies and provides the knowledge to integrate and optimize energy systems.
